Steven M. Wright

Steven M. Wright, 35, died at 9:14 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1980, in Murphysboro, the son of Carl M. and Imogene Tellor Wright.

He is survived by his parents, Carl and Imogene Wright of Anna; one sister, Kimberly (Emmanuel) Garcia of Anna; one nephew, Isaac Garcia and one niece, Mackenzie Garcia, both of Anna; maternal grandmother Marcella Tellor of Anna; uncles and aunts Allen “Hot Dog” (Reva) Wright, Jim (Gladys) Johnson and family, Sharon Mansfield, Louie Tellor and family, Lisa Casey and family, Mary Ann Case and family and Mitchell Tellor and family; many cousins; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl R. and Betty J. Wright.

He was a 1999 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, the same year he was involved in an automobile accident. He has struggled over the years with medical issues, now he is at peace.

Funeral services for Mr. Wright were at 2 p.m. Monday, June 27, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating.
