Thomas A. ‘Tomy’ Bible

Thomas A. “Tomy” Bible, 33, of Anna, died at 10:36 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 25, 1983, in Carbondale, the son of Mark D. and Vicki Campbell Bible.

He is survived by his son, Drake T. Bible of Anna, son of Tasha Mealer; two special little girls, Bailey and Keara Bible of Anna; his mother, Vicki Bible of Anna; a sister, Nikki (Jason) Earnhart of Springfield; his maternal grandmother, Nadine Campbell of Anna; numerous cousins; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark D. Bible; a brother, Cody Bible; his maternal grandfather, Homer Campbell; an uncle, Billy Campbell; and his maternal grandparents, Louis and Patsy Bible.

His family said Tomy was caring and happy go lucky. His passions were his family and sports; he loved watching the Chicago Cubs win the World Series this past year.

Memorial services for Mr. Bible will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Billy Carter officiating. Friends can call after noon on Friday, Feb. 3, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
