Kedron K. Parr

Kedron K. Parr, 94, of Anna, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at her home.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1923, in Dongola, the daughter of Paul Alfred and Bertha Novella Karraker Lingle.

She married Luther Parr on April 25, 1943. He preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2010.

She enjoyed working in her flower garden, crocheting and quilting. She attended the First Christian Church in Anna for many years.

She is survived by her sons, LaRue (Sherry) Parr of Dongola and Morris (Linda) Parr of Greenup; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lazelle Snell of Anna; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luther Parr; a son, P.L. Parr; and a sister, Maurine Claxton.

Funeral services for Kedron K. Parr will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, today, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will follow in the Anna City Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
