Christina ‘Evelyn’ Rumfelt

Christina “Evelyn” Rumfelt, 71, of Wickliffe, Ky., and formerly of Anna, died at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at her home.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1946, in Wolf Lake, the daughter of John and Pearl Smith Morse.

She married Christopher Paul Rumfelt in Indianapolis, Ind. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her two daughters, Natalie Rumfelt of Kansas, and Paula Garcia of Indianapolis, Ind., one son, Christopher Paul Rumfelt Jr. of San Pablo, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; five sisters, Karen Gentry of Anna, Alice Brimm of Anna, Cindy Sue Scharell, Betty Sutton and Sue Richardson, all of Kansas City, Kan.; two brothers, Milas Morse of Indiana and Bob Morse of Kansas City, Kan.; a very special niece she lived with, Helena Gentry of Wickliffe, Ky.; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister and five brothers.

She served in the U.S. Army. She was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God. She worked as an accounting bookkeeper for several years.

Funeral services for Christina “Evelyn” Rumfelt were at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
