Brenda Kane
Brenda Kane, 53, of Jonesboro, died at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at her home in Jonesboro.
She was born on Nov. 12, 1964, in St. Louis, the daughter of Franklin Delano and Florence Marie Dunlap Kane.
She was a loyal member of Faith Community Church in Anna. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping and going to the casino. She treasured her family and her canine companion, Max.
She is survived by her five children, Deborah (Kevin) Roach of Jonesboro, James Dunlap of Carbondale, Michael Dunlap of Cape Girardeau, Rebecca (Christopher) Parks of Vienna and Steve Dunlap of Lick Creek; nine grandchildren, Brandon Kane, Brittany Kane, Brittany Roach, Bryan Dunlap, Montannah Parks, Trenady Parks, Makenzie Parks, Jaxsen Bloodworth and Brookelynn Dunlap; siblings Terry Kane, Franklin Kane, Dennis Kane and Dorothy Maynard; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, John Kane.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Interment was in the Anna City Cemetery.
