Ada I. Clendenin
Ada I. Clendenin, 82, of Wolf Lake, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1938, in Anna, the daughter of Cecil and Freda Dillow Craft.
She married John L. Clendenin Sr. on May 16, 1959, in Anna. He preceded her in death February of 2006.
Mrs. Clendenin is survived by her son, John (Stacey) Clendenin of Grand Tower; a daughter, Lori (Scott) Trammel of Harrisburg; grandchildren Jessica (Sherman) Baker, Brandy Casper (Kent Toler), Austin Cavenass, Devin Clendenin, Mason, Logan and Conner Robertson; great-grandchildren Wyatt and Sadie Baker and Cheyenne Toler; siblings Ellen Eades and Martha Barlow both of Anna, Ernest (Charolet) Craft of Jackson, Mo., and Sharon (Donny) Tuschhoff of Oak Ridge, Mo.; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Densil Clendenin; and a grandchild, Vince Casper.
She worked for the Department of Conservation at the tree nursery for many years until she retired. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her spare time.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Kenneth Verble officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery near Dongola.
Friends can call after 10 a.m. and until the service hour at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
