Ada Reynolds
Ada Reynolds, 87, of Anna, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 26, 1933, in Alto Pass, the daughter of Preston Filmore and Fannie Melissa Underwood Hale.
She married Jack W. Reynolds on July 8, 1950, Pocahontas, Ark., and together they shared 38 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1989.
Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her children, Glenda Winn of Anna, Jack Reynolds Jr. of Carbondale, Billy Reynolds of Murphysboro and Cheryl (Ralph) Jedamski of Goreville; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack W. Reynolds; a grandson, Joshua Reynolds; a son-in-law, David Lee Winn; and several brothers and sisters.
She was a member of the Christian Biblical Church of God for many years. She loved sewing and working in her herb garden.
Graveside funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the Alto Pass Cemetery, with Doug Collison officiating. Interment immediately followed.
