Agnes Friese

Agnes Friese, 87, of Alto Pass, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Integrity Healthcare in Anna. 

She was born on June 30, 1934, in Alto Pass, the daughter of Melvin and Alma Fox Tellor. 

She married Forrest Ray Friese on Aug. 3, 1957, in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1991.

Mrs. Friese is survived by her sister, Esther Barker of Anna; a brother, Donald Tellor of Vienna; a nephew, Andy (Olivia) Barker; great-nephews Dylan (Merandia) Barker, Justin(Emmelie) Barker, Garrett and Seth Barker; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; three sisters, Ruby Sims, Ellen Smith and Evelyn Tanner; and four brothers, Elmer, Henry, Walter and Alfred Tellor.

She owned and operated the café in Alto Pass many years ago.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, today, at the Alto Pass Cemetery, with Danny Miller officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to the Alto Pass Fire Department. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
