Berry Sharp, 52, of Dongola, died at 8:59 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Baptist Health in Paducah.
He was born on June 25, 1963, the son of Joe Cephis and Gloria Joann Moad Sharp.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Joann Sharp of Cobden; his wife, Christine Sharp of Dongola; a daughter, Crystal (Bryan) Pulliam of Carbondale; stepchildren Stephanie (Mike) Bohnert of Perryville, Mo., and Karen Teague of Jackson, Mo.; grandchildren Brittney (Christopher McGraw) Pulliam, Nathan Pulliam and Morgan Pulliam; step-grandchildren Damien McAlister, Sierra McAllister and Jayden Smith; a great-grandchild, Bently McGraw; a dear friend, Billie Wyant of Dongola and her children, Colton, Terry and Erin; two brothers, Terry Sharp of Granite City and Harold Sharp of Cobden; nieces and nephews Melissa (Jason) Peach, Kristen Apponey, Andrew Sharp (Kristy Holder) and Amy Jo (Kevin) Beagle; great-nieces and great-nephew Ryan, Savannah, Caroline and Haley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Cephis Sharp.
He worked for Florsheim Shoe Company for many years and later for the Village of Dongola.
Funeral services for Mr. Sharp were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Jeff Starr officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
