Betty Jo Boyd

Betty Jo Boyd, 73, of West Frankfort, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Harrisburg Medical Center. 

She was born on Feb. 1, 1948, in Granite City, the daughter of Samuel and Betty Shepard Casper. 

On most days you could find her enjoying a crossword puzzle or reading her Bible. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her family.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Boyd of West Frankfort, Nicholas Boyd of Clarksville, Tenn., Jason Stanton of West Frankfort and Michael Stanton of Tennessee; five grandchildren; brothers Jeff (Ruth) Dunn of Vienna and Randy Dunn of Anna; many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers, Gerald Wayne “Jerry” Casper and Steve Casper.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Pastor David A. Nolen officiating. Interment followed in Casper Cemetery near Anna. Memorials can be made to the 700 Club.
