Beverly J. Bryan Moore
Beverly J. Bryan Moore, 78, of Anna, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on Sep. 7, 1942, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Verner Bryan and Helen Jungk Bryan.
She married Frank Moore on Dec. 27, 1967.
She grew up in Kirkwood, Mo. After graduating from high school, she attended Milliken University in Decatur and graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
She worked for the State of Illinois in the human resources department at the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna.
She enjoyed spending summers in Florissant, Colo., and winters in Brownsville, Texas. She loved spending time and having fun with friends and family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kendra (Doug) Edwards and Andrea (Mark) Laster; three adorable grandchildren, Jordan (Andrew) Kirby, Katie Edwards and Jackson Laster; one beautiful great-granddaughter, Anderson Shaye Kirby; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and life partner Alexander Popov.
The family will host a memorial service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anna at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17. Friends and family are asked to gather at the church. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Anna Elks, 427 E. Jefferson, Anna.
Memorials can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
