C. Lowell Hubble

C. Lowell Hubble, 62, of Carbondale, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Integrity Healthcare in Carbondale. 

He was born on Aug. 16, 1959, in Pomona, Calif., the son of Scottie Sr. and Juanita Beckel Hubble.            

He is survived by his mother, Juanita Hubble of Flora; a daughter, Nicole Renee Hubble of Texas; a sister, Linda (Gene) Robinson of Jonesboro; a brother, Scottie Jr. (Regina) Hubble of Jonesboro; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.           

He worked many years as a diesel mechanic at the Naval base when he lived in California. 

After moving to Southern Illinois he worked at Jo-Co Pools. He was a member of the Refuge Worship Center in Ware and loved attending church. 

He enjoyed family events, hot rods and helping others in need.            

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment was in Jonesboro Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to the Refuge Worship Center.
