Carlos Modglin, 83, of Jonesboro, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on May 14, 1933, in Berryville, the son of Fred and Ora Lee Womack Modglin. He was raised by his grandparents, the Rev. W.C. and Elizabeth Womack.
He is survived by his cousins, Ralph Womack of Jonesboro and Hazel Womack and her family; niece Yvonne Eads of Cobden; great-niece Erica Wheaton of Jonesboro; great-nephew Chad Eads of Cobden; best friend Bill Chamness; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; and cousins Betty Kinslow, Bob Womack, Larry Womack and Gary Womack.
Funeral services for Mr. Modglin were at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Randy Wheaton officiating. Interment was in the Anna City Cemetery.
