Charles Eugene Chapman

Charles E. Chapman, 62, of Cobden, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Integrity Healthcare of Cobden.     

He was born on June 4, 1955, the son of Hershel Wilmer and Ogla Evalee Andrews Chapman.

He was an avid fisherman.

Mr. Chapman is survived by his siblings, Martha (Leroy) Lemmons of Cape Girardeau, Hershel Chapman, Norma (Bill) Burke of Scott City, Mo., William Chapman of Wolf Lake, James (Paula) Chapman of Metropolis, Nancy (Allen) Austin of Buncombe, Kay Copeland of Cobden and Emma Lou (Odie) Hutchinson of Metropolis; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Herman Chapman, Charles Chapman and Donnie Chapman; and one sister, Irma Chapman.
