Charles Larry Keller

Charles Larry Keller, 74, of Dongola, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Sept. 23, 1948, in Anna, the son of Charles Jefferson and Mazel Beatrice Youngblood Keller. 

He married Linda Hartline Keller on Oct.  20, 1967.

He was a 1967 graduate of Dongola High School. He worked out of the Local 318 union as a heavy equipment operator for 35 years. 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud racing and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed his daily trips to Acee’s to visit with friends. He was of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include his wife, Linda of Dongola; son Charles Barry (Jennifer) Keller of Dongola; two granddaughters, Whitney Danae (Brandon) Bigham and Madeline Keller; a grandson, Abel Dean Bigham; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Charles Jerry Keller; and a brother, Terry Keller. 

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with Brent Miller officiating. 

Interment followed the service at the American Legion Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
