Claudia Johnson

Claudia Johnson, 88, of Cobden, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at Integrity Healthcare Center in Anna. 

She was born on Oct. 20, 1933, in Union County, the daughter of Benjamin W. and Hilda Schlenker Dillow.  

She married Billy Jean Johnson on June 10, 1950. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2005.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her children, Billy (Becky) Johnson Jr. of Gilbertsville, Ky., Bennie Johnson of Cobden, Janie Jones of Joliet, Rebecca (Philip) Winchester of Manteno and James (Toni) Johnson of Channahon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Harry Johnson; a granddaughter, Brandi Johnson; and a grandson, Zachary Johnson.

She loved spending time with her family and greatly enjoyed quilting.

Graveside funeral services for Claudia Johnson were held at Casper Cemetery near Anna immediately following visitation from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorials can be made to Casper Cemetery.
