Dan Paul Hileman

Dan Paul Hileman, 72, of Anna, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

He was born on Dec. 7, 1944, in Jonesboro, the son of Ray Alfred and Blanche Dillon Hileman.

He married Suzanne Brookman on March 20, 1965, in Jonesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Hileman of Anna; a daughter, Rebecca (Patrick) Clark of Anna; three grandchildren, Danielle Mrozek, Cassidy Mrozek and Harley Hileman; one great-granddaughter, Alaynna; two sisters, Sarah Moore of Channahon and Mary (John) Cripps of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by one son, William “B.J.” Hileman.

Dan and Suzanne were known as winter Texans: every winter they would travel to Rio Valley Estate Park in Weslaco, Texas, where they made many friends.

He worked as a pipe fitter for many years.

Funeral services for Mr. Hileman will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. John Cripps officiating. Friends can call from 11 a.m. and until the service hour at 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home of Anna.
