Darrell E. Woods

Darrell E. Woods, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Hardin County General Hospital. 

He was born on Oct. 4, 1946, in Louisville, the son of Robert Neil and Lois Mae Tackitt Woods. 

He is survived by his sister, Susan (Phil) Alley of Weber City, Va.; brothers Chuck (Vickie) Woods of Olney and Jim (Terri) Woods of Flora; many nieces and nephews; all of his friends at Arrowleaf; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved to wear his Cardinals cap and wrist watch and he always enjoyed a good meal.

Graveside funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 9, at Red Brush Cemetery in Louisville, with Pastor Brent Bailey officiating. Interment immediately followed.
