Dawn Rahe Beene’

Dawn Rahe Beene’, 60, of Tamms, died at 9:24 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1959, the daughter of John Ray and Wanda Lee Chandler Kirkpatrick. 

She was married to Warren Hodges and Mickey Beene’, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and loved animals. She took care of any animal that showed up at her house. She also enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda Powell; her son, Aubrey Beene’; her daughter, Amanda Beene’ Hendrickson; one granddaughter; three grandsons; two sisters, Christy Jackson and Stacy Rodgers, a brother-in-law, Randy Rodgers; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

She will be missed by all, but most of all by her cat, Spike.

She was preceded in death by her father and by two husbands.

Funeral services for Dawn Rahe Beene’ were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.

Crain Funeral Home in Tamms was in charge of arrangements.
