Donald “Ducky” Rangel

Donald “Ducky” Rangel

Donald “Ducky” Rangel, 64, of Anna, died at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau on Jan. 1, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Consuela Rangel, and his grandparents, Joaquin and Agrippina Rangel.

Ducky leaves behind his Mulberry Manor family and many other friends who adored him.

He was born on Sept. 21, 1956, in Peoria. He had lived at Mulberry Manor in Anna since 2008.

Donald enjoyed spending time in the offices of staff, where he held many important “meetings.”

His favorite things were “clicky pens,” clip boards and paper.  He would spend hours taking notes, talking on the phone and just being the best administrative assistant one could ask for.

Ducky has taught many that love and friendship go beyond words, and that individuality is what makes this world so beautiful.  We are all equal members of humanity and to know Ducky was to know that “different does not mean less.” You will forever be in our hearts, little man.
