Donn S. Miller

Donn S. Miller, 75, of Tamms, and formerly of Cairo, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at 6:37 a.m. in Cairo at Asperion Care.

He was born on July 17, 1942, in Cairo, the son of Charles H. and Alice Marie Sterrett Miller.

He was a graduate of Cairo High School and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was an avid bicyclist and considered himself a philosopher and social critic.

He is survived by his brother, John Miller (fiancee Frances Comte) of Olive Branch; his companion, Amanda Ford of Tamms; special friend Mitch Haskins of West Mounds; numerous friends and acquaintances in the Alexander County area, as well as his many canine friends who kept him company.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
