Edwin James ‘Chip’ Rundle Jr.
Edwin James “Chip” Rundle Jr., 63, of Anna, died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1960, at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, the son of Edwin James Rundle Sr. and Carol Joyce Essex Bearden.
He graduated from Meridian High School in Mounds in the Class of 1979. He was a student in the first truck driving program at Shawnee Community College.
Mr. Rundle was a truck driver for Kirby & Sons Logging Company. He also attended welding school, enjoyed collecting Indian rocks and liked to shoot and fish.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin James Rundle Sr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Bearden; his wife, Karen Rundle; daughters Amanda Kaus and Jaymee Wright; stepchildren Garrett Everett, Rebecca Beatty, Adam Burnett and John Burnett; mother-in-law Sara Tutko; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; aunt and uncles; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. Patsy Arnold to give the eulogy. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
