Elmer Pryor

Elmer Harry Pryor, the son of the late Elmer Harry Pryor Sr. and Veda Medling Pryor, was born on Sept. 4, 1946, in Cape Girardeau.

He died on Jan. 26, 2019, at his residence in Dexter, Mo., at the age of 72 years.

Mr. Pryor was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a retired engineer and a bus driver for the Stoddard County ARC.

Mr. Pryor married Barbara Bilderback on June 3, 1967, in Anna.

Mrs. Pryor survives at their home in Dexter, Mo. Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Ellis of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jennifer McQueen of Great Falls, Mont.; two sisters, Janet Schildknecht of Anna and Barbara Cooper of Waco, Texas; and by three grandchildren, Daniel Pryor, Rhianon Pryor and Lesile McQueen.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., was in charge of all arrangements.
