Eric L. Gorman

Eric L. Gorman, 53, of Detroit, Mich., and formerly of Union County, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at the Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Mich.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1967, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Robert Marlow and Dale Ann Doerr Gorman. 

He is survived by his father, Robert (Carol) Gorman of Garden Valley, Idaho; a sister, Emilee (Charles) Marks of Jonesboro; a half-sister, Alisa Fancher of Missouri; a nephew, Dallas Marks; a niece, Jade Marks; other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dale Ann Gorman; paternal grandparents Katie and Warren Gorman; and maternal grandparents Milferd “Doc” and Georgia Marie Doerr. 

He was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Detroit, Mich. He worked as a CNA for many years. 

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the Anna Cemetery. Friends attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
