Floyd Junior Tellor

Floyd Junior Tellor, 70, of Lick Creek, died at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 13, 1952, in Anna, the son of Floyd William and Katherine Beltz Tellor.

He was a genealogist and loved Civil War reenactments. He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America No. 1330. He also loved his dog, Scooter. 

Survivors include daughters Jennifer (Pat) Casey and Deborah Durham; sons Floyd Eric (Jenny) Tellor, Floyd Michael Tellor, and William Jacob Tellor, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters Darlene Brown and Belinda Peterman; brothers Walter Smith, Robert Smith, and Elmer Tellor; and other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Deborah Lee Tellor; a brother, Larry Eugene Tellor; and girlfriend Shirley Williams.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Kelly Cemetery in Cobden, with the Rev. Billy Carter officiating. Interment followed.
