Gary Boyd Langston

Gary Boyd Langston, 85, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Wednesday, June 12, 2024.  

He was born on Aug. 8, 1938, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Arthur and Bernetta Boyd Langston. 

He married Barbara Beeler on Feb. 27, 1971, in Fairview Heights, Mo.

He worked for and retired from the Cotton Belt Railroad, where he worked as a conductor. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Langston; children Gary (Janie) Langston II, Pam (Charles) Painter, Pattie Langston, Roger (Beth) Langston, Terry (Angela) Langston and Julie (Brian) Arbegast; grandchildren Amber Langston, Ashley and Brandon Arbegast, Robert, Jared and Jessica Painter; and a sister, Rin (Phil) Ray. 

He was preceded in death by parents and a brother, Michael Langston.

Services for Gary Boyd Langston will be held privately.
