Gayle Page

Gayle Page, 81, of Savoy, and formerly of Tuscola, died Friday morning, April 7, 2017, at Willowbrook Memory Care of Savoy.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home in Tuscola. Burial followed in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

She was born on July 5, 1935, in Anna, the daughter of Edward and Beulah Eastman Honey.

She married Richard W. Page on June 1, 1952, in Anna. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1995. She married Edward Wachala on March 28, 1998, in Tuscola. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Richard (Kathy) Page of Paxton, Cheryl Page (Tony Betterton) of Fisher and David (Kimberly) Page of Hudson; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; stepchildren Edward Wachala and Steve Wachala, both of Champaign, Kathy Wachala of Georgia and Teresa Wachala of Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Alan Page; two brothers and one sister.

She formerly worked as a clerk for Mitchell’s Department Store in Tuscola. She was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ. She enjoyed dancing and cross stitching.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association or to the ALS Association.
