Geraldine McLane

Geraldine McLane, 89, of Anna, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at Integrity Healthcare in Anna. 

She was born on Feb. 21, 1929, in Jonesboro, the daughter of William and Bertha Hinkle Mayberry. 

She married Raymond Roy “Speedy” McLane on Feb. 14, 1954, at Valley Mission in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1991.

Mrs. McLane is survived by her three sons, Raymond Leon (Myra) McLane of Jonesboro, Cletus William (Becky) McLane of Metropolis and James Lee (Yvonne) McLane of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Shawna McLane, C.J. (Rachel) McLane, Benjamin (Amber) McLane, Jamie L. McLane, Matthew (Bethany) McLane, Christina (Dean) Warden, Cassandra (Andy) Lessar and Jonathon (Becky) McLane; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd (Vicki) Mayberry and Richard (Jean) Mayberry, all of Jonesboro; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-grandson, Enoch McLane; two sisters, Mildred Wright and Helen Kazee; and five brothers, Robert, “A.P”, Dugan, Raymond and Sherman Mayberry. 

She was a member of the Tamms Pentecostal Church for many years. 

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Raymond, Jim and Cletus McLane officiating. Interment was in the Valley Mission Cemetery in Jonesboro.
