Haleigh Breyenne Slusher
Haleigh Breyenne Slusher, 17, of Grand Chain, died at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at her home.
She was born at 10:42 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2003, in Carbondale, the daughter of Luke Slusher and Melissa Cavness.
Haleigh was a sophomore at Century High School and was a cheerleader. She loved music, poetry and taking pictures and videos with her phone. She enjoyed being with her friends.
She is survived by her mother, Melissa Cavness (Isaac Pratis); stepparents, Keith and Tiffany Johnson; siblings Darien (Tyler) Ford, Blake LeFevre, Caine Johnson, Lochlyn Johnson and Alexandra Pratis; grandparents Fran Cavness, Tony Slusher and Barbara Boviall; aunts and uncles Eric and Buddy Slusher and Nathan and Dianna Smith; special friends Ira Elliott and Dhani Miller; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luke Slusher; and her grandparents, Roger Cavness and Katie Slusher.
Private family services were held Monday afternoon, June 29, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with Jack Thornton officiating. Interment was in the Ullin Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Crain Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
