Harold Lloyd Stevenson

Harold Lloyd Stevenson, 79, of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Elco, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at Tucson Medical Center.

He was born on May 21, 1928, in Elco, the son of Lloyd L. and Norma D. Campbell Stevenson.

He married Hilda Trask on Nov. 5, 1970. She preceded him in death on May 18, 2015.

For 37 years, he worked for American Airlines as a former crew chief. He was also an avid member of the Moose Lodge and the Arizona Gold Prospecting Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Jody Rost of Tucson, Ariz.; a very special friend, Bobbie Edward/Saylors of Booneville, Miss.; stepsons Jeffery Nichols and Joseph Nichols, stepdaughter, Lisa Nichols, all of Bellevue, Mo.; a granddaughter, Jo Anna Rost, and a grandson, Charles Rost, both of Tucson, Ariz.; nieces Norma (Joe) Spurlock of Dongola, Jane Hutton and Gary Erwin of Worden, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Edward Rost; a brother, Ernest Stevenson; and two sisters, Betty Estes and Florence Wilson.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
