Howard A. Ramage
Howard A. Ramage, 80, of Anna, died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born on March 11, 1938, in Perks, the son of Marshall and Bertha Wright Ramage.
He married Elizabeth Ralls on Feb. 12, 1966, and they enjoyed 52 years together.
He retired after 34 years in the IBEW as an electrical worker in the Local 702. He loved his grandkids and great-grandchildren. He always loved telling stories and laughed while telling them.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Ramage of Anna; a son, Richard (Margaret) Ramage of Weldon; a daughter, Amy Bennett of Anna; grandchildren Zachary (Krysten) Ramage, Chris (Kacie) Fuller, Nash Ramage, Savannah Ramage and Haley (Don) Eddleman; eight great-grandchildren; sisters JoAnn Lessar of Jonesboro, Verna L. Aden of Marion, Ann (Kenneth) Rosson of Mill Creek and Rita Ramage of Mill Creek; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ralph, Harvey, Homer and Ira Ramage; and sisters Agnes Eddleman and Ruth Stone.
Funeral services were at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with the Rev. Terry Kern officiating. Private inurnment will follow at a later date.
Memorials can be made to Christian Chapel Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
