Irma L. Black
Irma L. Black, 80, of Anna, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at 3:20 p.m. at the Anna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1936, in Buncombe, the fourth of five children born to George and Jane Smith Nicholson.
On Sept. 11, 1951, she married Elbert Black in Osceola, Ark. He survives.
She is also survived by a son, Alan Lee (his wife, Mary) Black of Cobden; five grandchildren, Davina Powers, Trina Mayberry, Heather Stanley, Sabrina Mayberry and Jared Black; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers.
She was a homemaker. She had also worked for Addus Home Heath Care as an in-home care provider. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed making handcrafted items and woodworking.
Private funeral services will be conducted.
