Jackie Hale

Jackie Hale, 75, of Cobden, died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday, Sept 3, 2016, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1940, in Union County, the daughter of Jack G. and Ruby Brasel Yates.

She married Larry D. Hale on Jan. 16, 1960. Together they shared 56 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Larry D. Hale of Cobden; two daughters, Rebecca Marlynn Hale (Roger Barringer) and Roxanna Darlynn Myers and fiance (Eric Sullens), all of Cobden; one son, Larry Dean II (Dia) Hale of Carbondale; grandchildren Zack (Brooke) Hale, Nicole (Jason) Jackson, Shayne Hale, Gabriel Hale, Willow Hale, Ethan (Kristina) Myers, Dalton Myers (Kimberly Mixon), Dustin (Cheyenne) Knop, DaCota Knop (Cody Kosydor), Garrett Barringer, Ashely Barringer, Brenley Barringer and Eli Barringer; great-grandchildren Kylie Hale, Korbin Hale, Avery Myers, Rhyker Knop, Westin Kosydor, Briden Jackson and Baylor Jackson; two brothers, Jack G. Jr. (Marsha) Yates and Charles F. (Gayle) Yates, all of Cobden; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church for many years and the Eastern Star.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hale were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden, with Josh Franklin officiating. Interment was in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek.
