James H. Brown
James H. Brown, 97, of Anna, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at his home.
He was born on June 16, 1924, in Anna, the son of James E. and Eunice Inman Brown.
He married Marion Juede on Oct. 10, 1987. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2003.
Mr. Brown is survived by two sisters, Afton Menees of Anna and Bonita Schaefer of St. Louis; a brother, Ronald Brown of Nashville; his stepchildren, Charles Schmidt, Carol Dippold and Kathy Landholt; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and a sister, Blanche Pickles.
Mr. Brown had been a member of Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church and later attended the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He retired from the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna and worked for many years on the family farm.
Funeral services for James H. Brown were at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Roger Menees officiating. Interment followed in the Anna Cemetery.
