Janet Dillman, 72, of Jonesboro, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 19, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Carl and Effie Morris Pedigo.
She married Charles Edward Dillman Sr. on Feb. 23, 1967, in Olive Branch. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 2017.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Christie) Dillman of Anna, Charles Dillman Jr. of Anna and Christina (Jeremiah) Willmore of Jonesboro; grandchildren Michael Dillman, Brittany (Daniel) Rich, Ethan Dillman, Ayden Dillman, Elaine Willmore, Lucas Willmore and Joseph Willmore; a great-grandchild, Eric Rich; brothers Chester (Sherre) Pedigo of Jonesboro and Arthur (Nancy) Pedigo of Virginia; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Edward Dillman Sr.; a granddaughter, Alexis Dillman; a sister, Myrtle Stevens; and a brother, Buddy Pedigo.
She was a member of the East Cape Baptist Church. She worked for many years at the First National Bank in Jonesboro. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at St. John’s Cemetery near Dongola, with the Rev. Paul Mayberry officiating.
