Janette Commean

Janette Commean, 70, of Du Quoin, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 6, 1947, in East Chicago, Ind., the daughter of Rudolf and Evelyn Alice Stephenson Gavach.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Gavach of Du Quoin; four sons, Jonathan Commean of Clarksville, Tenn., Jameson Commean of Cape Girardeau, Joshua (Wendy) Laws of Anna and Justin Laws of Herrin; one daughter, Natasha (Jose) Bautista of Murphysboro; a sister, Patricia Aeck of Houston, Texas; several grandchildren and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Helen Rocha; and a brother, Francis Gavach.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation was accorded and inurnment will take place at a later date.
