Jared Newman

Jared Newman, 32, of Anna, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 16, 1985, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Bruce and Kay Halterman Newman.

He married Heather Freeman on May 25, 2013, at Ferne Clyffe State Park near Goreville.

Jared is survived by his wife, Heather Newman of Anna; a son, Jet Newman of Anna; parents Bruce and Kay Newman of Buncombe; two sisters, Allison Manenti of Ellisville, Mo., and Valerie Jones of Jonesboro; aunts and uncles; cousins; other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Echo Blue Newman.

Jared was an art teacher. He loved music, art, his children and his wife, Heather.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Paul Tirey officiating. Interment is in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek.
