Jennifer L. Betts
Jennifer L. Betts, 62, of Tamms, died at her residence at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1958, in St. Louis, the daughter of Claude Richard and Nancy A. New Timmons.
She married Charles “Chuck” Betts on June 4, 1976.
She was a bus driver for SMART. She was a member of Elco Baptist Church. She enjoyed photography, spending time with her family and she loved the beach.
She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Betts; her daughter, Jaime Hodges (Wesley Winslett); son Derek Betts; two granddaughters, Alissa Hodges and Raeanna Hodges; her sister, Miranda Timmons (JD Brown); grandmother Jo Clebenger; aunts Ginger (Bryan) Morrison, Ruth New and Patricia Williams; her uncle, Clyde New; sisters-in-law Joan Webb and Mary Henderson; and brother-in-law Roger Betts.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A pass-through was held Monday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.
Graveside services for Jennifer L. Betts were Monday, Dec. 14, at 12:30 p.m. at the Cobden Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.
Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
