Jessica Christine Trexler

Jessica Christine Trexler, 33, of Pulaski, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1988, in Carbondale, the daughter of Christopher Lovies and Kimberly Trexler.

She was a graduate in the  Century High School Class of 2007. She played basketball for Century, Shawnee Community College and Blackburn College.

She served in U.S. Air Force. She was employed at Choate Mental Health & Development Center in Anna.

Survivors include her mother, Kim Trexler of Anna; her father, Christopher Lovies of Marion; maternal grandparents Douglas “Mac” (Nettie) Trexler of Villa Ridge and Phyllis Trexler of Boone, N.C.; paternal grandmother Romelia Newburn of Ullin; sisters Brittany Trexler of Pulaski and Ariana Groves of Anna; aunts Valerie Trexler of Atlanta, Ga., Kathy Butler of St. Louis and Mikelle Hurt of Ullin; nephews Markell and Gabriel Trexler; a niece, Amiyah Wyatt; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Larry Buckles and Pastor Brent Miller officiated. Military honors were accorded by the Scott Air Force Base burial detail team.
