John Edward Cage Jr., 77, of Cairo, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at 12:14 a.m. at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born on Jan. 30, 1943, in Cairo, the son of John Edward Sr. and Evelyn Edwards Cage.
He loved reading, watching animal shows and playing bingo. He was a member of Mighty Rivers Church in Cairo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Joyce Felts.
Funeral services for John Cage Jr. were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Mighty Rivers Church in Cairo, with Dr. Larry Potts officiating. Interment followed in Bethlehem Cemetery in Wickliffe, Ky.
Crain Funeral Home in Cairo was in charge of arrangements.
