Johnnie Foster Sr.

Johnnie Foster Sr., 76, of Anna, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Union County Hospital in Anna. 

He was born on July 24, 1945, in Perks, the son of Walter and Aileen Chesney Foster. 

He married Carolyn Davis on April 15, 1995, in Union County.

Mr. Foster is survived by his wife, Carolyn Foster of Anna; children John Foster Jr. of Mounds and Jennifer Renae Foster of Anna; stepdaughter Crystal Sue Shepard of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren Trae Foster, Olivia Foster and Jonathon Foster; step-grandchild Pierce Shepard; great-grandchild Reiss Foster; siblings Anna, Shirley, Dorothy and Holly; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Michelle Renee Foster; and by siblings, Mary Lou, Mary Ann, Rosemary and Dewey.

He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He loved antiques and as a kid he liked to race go carts. 

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, at St. John’s Cemetery near Dongola. Interment immediately followed.
