Joshua Lowell Reinier

Joshua Lowell Reinier, 34, of Anna, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Anna.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1985, in Carbondale, the son of Patrick Reinier and Sonya Glasford Reinier.

Survivors include his father, Patrick Reinier of Dongola; his children, Zoey Rene Reinier and Logan Gage Reinier, both of Anna; a brother, Bradley Wayne (his wife, Skye) Reinier of Carbondale; two sisters, Natasha Davis of Carbondale and Chelsea Reinier; his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Darlene  Glasford of Anna; his niece, Eden Reinier; his nephew, Ethan Reinier; and his uncle Dennis (his wife Linda) Long.

Joshua was preceded in death by his mother, Sonya Glasford Reinier; his paternal grandfather, Edwin Reinier; by his paternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Sharon and John Dodson; and by his uncle Joe Reinier.

Joshua attended Shawnee Community College.  He had been employed as a CNA (Certified Nurse’s Aide) as well as a cook at Spanish Oaks Center in Anna.  

Joshua attended Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna. He was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed fishing and bow hunting.

A private service honoring the life of Joshua Reinier was conducted Friday, July 3, at Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna. Pastor Darryl Williams officiated. Burial was in the Alto Pass Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (Greater Illinois Chapter) 320 E. Walnut St., Suite A, Carbondale, Ill. 62901.
