Joyce Ann Bartruff

Joyce Ann Bartruff, 65, of Anna, died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1952, in Anna, the daughter of Wayne Watson and Florence Elizabeth Brasel Bartruff.

She had lived in Anna her entire life, where she was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, a member of the United Methodist Church, Anna Eastern Star Chapter No. 522 and had worked at RAVE for over 40 years.

Surviving are two sisters, Linda (Ed) Boyd and Sharon Hileman; nieces and nephews Valerie (John) Bollinger, Ned (Amy) Boyd, Justin (Brittany) Hileman and Megan (Josh) Tolson; great-nieces and great-nephews Ethan, Susan, Beth, Maren, Boyd, David, Reid, Emmitt and Adalei; and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by two great-nieces, Laura and Anna Bollinger.

Graveside services were held at the Anna Cemetery in Anna, at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2017. The Rev. Larry Buckles, pastor of Union Church in Villa Ridge officiated. Interment followed. 

McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
