Judy Kay Davis Mezo Henson

Judy Kay Davis Mezo Henson, 73, of Grand Tower, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1943, the daughter of Henry N. and Myra Lucille Wilson Davis in Union County.

She is survived by three sons, Scott (Nikki) Mezo of Jackson, Mo., Bradley Wayne Mezo of Grand Tower and Tracy (Misty) Mezo of Mulberry Grove; a daughter, Sherry (Kevin) Ellet of Grand Tower; a brother, George (Hedy) Davis of Branson, Mo.; a sister, Betty Zimmerman of Ava; five grandchildren, Brandon, Myra, Braden, Jessi and Jenni Mezo; and one great-grandson, Malakai Mezo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Henson; and one brother, Cletus Davis.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Assembly of God in Wolf Lake.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, at Meredith Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Tower, with the Rev. Jack Thorton and Richie Pyatt officiating. Burial was in Valley Mission Cemetery in Jonesboro.
