June Marie Minor

June Marie Minor, 59, of Mounds, died at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born on Oct. 5, 1961, in Cairo, the daughter of Raymond Earl and Lois Adeline Rhude Minor Sr.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mound City. She had worked as a cook on a river barge line.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by a brother, Roger Minor; and by an infant daughter, Raphel Minor.

Survivors include two brothers, Raymond Minor Jr. of Mound City and Charles (Seaside) Minor of Ina; a half-sister, Donna Winget of Olmsted; a sister, Joyce (Lee) Cook of Assumption; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. Memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Buddy Walls officiating.

Private inurnment will take place at a later date at the St. Catherine Cemetery in Grand Chain.
