Karen F. Smith
Karen F. Smith, 76, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Integrity Healthcare in Anna.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1944, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Archie and Pearl Shepherd Barker. She married Richard Owen Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Richard Owen Smith; children Kimberly (Rich) Evans of Jonesboro, Sandra (Greg) Kohler of Jonesboro and Richard Dean (Michelle) Smith of Anna; grandchildren Kasey Clutts, Dustin Miller, Amber Sturgeon, Alyssa Pecord, Jacob Smith, Jude Smith and Joseph Smith; great-grandchildren Maggie and Dylan Clutts, Elisabeth Miller and Sutton Sturgeon; siblings Shelby Brown, Jan Brown, Brenda Durham, Pam Pind and Sharon Malone; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by siblings Shirley Davis, Carol “Sonny” Barker and Gary Barker.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Lockard Chapel Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed working out and staying active, as well as planting flowers and plants. She especially loved being home and taking care of her family, whom she loved very much.
Funeral services were at noon Tuesday, July 6, at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Pastor Mark Hasty officiating. Interment was in McGinnis Cemetery.
