Katherine C. Turner

Katherine C. Turner, 83, of Anna, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at her residence.  

She was born on March 14, 1936, in Cobden, the daughter of Burt John and Nora Ellen Griddings Hill. 

She married Carroll S. Turner on May 31, 1958, in Jonesboro.  He preceded her in death on April 25, 2007.

She is survived by her sons, Carroll Gene Turner, Steve Turner, Larry Turner and Daryl Turner; daughters Wilma Turner, Patricia (James) Williams and Kathleen Bailey, a sister; Betsy Upton; 45 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carroll S. Turner; sons Johnny Turner and Ricky Turner; brothers Charles and Don Hill; and a sister, Lula Dickerson.  

She was a member of the Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, camping and fishing.  She loved spending time with her family.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Pastor Jack Richardson officiating. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
