Kay Coleman, 67, of Dongola, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at her home.
She was born on May 7, 1949, in Anna, the daughter of Fred and Vernetta Osman Acuff.
She married Larry Coleman on Jan. 21, 1966.
She worked for 26 years at Florsheim Shoe Company. She loved to read and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Coleman of Dongola; daughter Christy Allen (Donnie Wasniak) of Chaffee, Mo.; two grandsons, Christopher Allen of Chaffee, Mo., and Arron Allen and his fiancee, Amanda of Dallas, Texas; sister Connie Zullo of Bourbonnais; niece and nephews, Richard Ascroft, Bruce McCommons, Mandy Kahl; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Barry) Hileman and Janice (Donald) Fisher; aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Michael Zullo; and Larry’s parents, Fred and Ruth Coleman.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, today, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, today, at the funeral home, with Donald Fisher and Brent Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
