Kenneth Wayne Tolar
Kenneth Wayne Tolar, 66, of Pulaski, died at 4:22 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Cobden.
Mr. Tolar was born on Sept. 21, 1955, in Anna, the son of Harry and Hazel Marie DeWeese Tolar, Jr.
He carried mail for the United States Postal Service for 37 years before his retirement.
Mr. Tolar was a member of Caledonia Community Church in Olmsted. He enjoyed golfing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Tolar Jr., on Sept. 3, 2004; and by his mother, Hazel Tolar, on Feb. 25, 2016.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Alecia and Nathan Pitts of Cobden; a son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Lindsay Tolar of Dublin, Va.; sisters Patricia (Joe) Upshaw of Warren Robbins, Ga., Theresa (Clyde) Ruble of Bolingbrook and Peggy Grant of Anna; a brother, Thomas “Tommy” Tolar of Pulaski; extended family Lindsay Fitzgerald, Todd and Troy Spaulding; nine grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held held Saturday, Jan. 29, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the VFW in Mounds.
