Larry C. Houston

Larry C Houston, 78, of Dongola, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on Dec. 13, 1943, in Anna, the son of Claude C. and Alma Casper Houston.

He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a millwright in the steel industry for his entire working years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.

Survivors include his sisters Rita Dillow and Jo (Russell) Hill; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Charles Houston.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with Larry Jordan officiating. Interment followed in the American Legion Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to the American Legion Cemetery. 

Crain Funeral Home in Dongola was in charge of arrangements.
